To catch up with your sister, mum, or girlfriend over coffee and cake.
It’s one of those places you visit for the interior first but stay because the food surprises you. It certainly did for me.
The menu is a beautiful mix of indulgence and balance artisanal coffees, decadent pastries, fresh salads, and gourmet sandwiches.
I went for the chicken and mozzarella sandwich, and honestly, it blew me away. The focaccia was perfectly airy, the flavors fresh and light simple yet satisfying.
What I love most about EL&N, though, is its name: Eat, Live, and Nourish and it lives up to it.
Every detail feels thoughtful, from the quality of the ingredients to the seamless iPad ordering system that makes everything effortless.

Hawajskie Niebo w Gębie which beautifully translates to “Hawaiian Heaven in Your Mouth” lives up to its name in every way.
Tucked in the heart of Kazimierz, this Pacific-inspired gem bursts with color and good vibes, making it the perfect spot for a girls’ night out or a cozy date that feels a little tropical escape.
The space is pure joy think bold murals, leafy greens, flowers spilling from every corner, and patterned tiles that instantly lift your mood.
And the food? A burst of flavor in every bite. The fried chicken is perfectly golden, crisp on the outside, juicy inside easily the best I’ve had in ages.
I’m also obsessed with the Kalua pork in panko, the pulled beef bao buns, and the jackfruit tacos that somehow taste like Moonshine.
But the real showstoppers are the cocktails.
Served in skull-shaped glasses with dry ice swirling like island mist, they arrive at your table with a little bit of theatre and a lot of fun.

The name really says it all Pierogi Mr. Vincent is where you’ll find some of the best pierogi in Kraków.

You’ll find the classics potato and cheese, meat with cabbage and mushrooms alongside creative twists like spinach and feta or sweet fruit-filled pierogi.
My personal favorites? The “Sicilian,” with potato, onion, cured cheese, dried tomato, and basil; and the “Russian Lift,” a perfect mix of potato, onion, cottage cheese, and bacon.

Well Done BBQ in Kazimierz is my go-to when I’m craving a break from the usual pierogi, cabbage, and schnitzel routine.
It’s got that classic American diner vibe red leather booths, metal signs, license plates on the walls the kind of place that feels both nostalgic and full of life.
They recently revamped the menu, so the legendary fried chicken pancake burger is sadly gone (RIP to that masterpiece), but the ribs, honey mustard, chipotle and mozzarella sticks still make it worth every visit.
Simple food done really well and yes, I’m kind of simple like that.
There’s a small, covered patio outside if you want to soak up the street buzz, but honestly, the neon glow and BBQ aroma inside are half the charm.

Restauracja Mazaya, just steps from the Old Town, is a Middle Eastern haven you can’t miss.

Generous portions, vegan-friendly options, and wallet-friendly prices keep both locals and tourists coming back for less than €25, I had a feast that lasted me three days.

Plac Nowy 1
Plac Nowy 1 is another Kraków gem that never disappoints. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted, without being pretentious or pricey.
Located in Kazimierz’s main square not the prettiest spot in town it still stands out with a menu that surprises: burgers, pizza, dry-seasoned entrecote, and hoisin duck bao buns. And do yourself a favor: try the rhubarb-basil lemonade. Absolute magic.
In colder months, their covered sunroom is pure coziness, with string lights and lush greenery perfect for a date. Come summer, the spacious outdoor area is the place to be.

It’s vibrant, welcoming, and full of that unmistakable Middle Eastern charm.
The menu is a celebration of fresh, authentic flavors and yes, the hummus absolutely lives up to its fame.
Creamy, rich, and served with warm, fluffy bread straight from the oven it’s comfort in its purest form.
But the magic doesn’t stop there.
Their falafel is golden and crisp, the shakshuka bursts with color and flavor, and the mezze plates are made for sharing (though you might not want to).
Hamsa is one of those places that feels like a little escape I always leave smiling, full, and already planning my next visit.

Their poké bowls are hands down the best food in Kraków, and the place itself is a little slice of sunshine.
The pastel tones and tropical vibe remind me of those breezy cafés in Bali effortless, bright, and full of good energy.
There are a few outdoor tables when the weather’s kind, and a couple of stools inside, but honestly? Grab yours bowl to go.
